Minutes of February 7, 2008

Council Meeting Held at Packard Lab 324 – Lehigh University

1. Agnes M. called the meeting to order at 6:00 P.M.

 

2. Roll Call of Attendees:

3. MOTION to approve minutes from last meeting on January 10, 2008. MOTION PASSED.

 

4. Engineer’s Week Banquet –

Speaker Gift – commemorative of the Lehigh Valley. B. Telatovich’s wife to select.

Hotel Accommodations – one night at the Holiday Inn Express,  1 mile from the Country

            Club.  MOTION to make expenditure. MOTION PASSED. B. Walp to  make

            reservation

Reservation and Seating Arrangements – D. Toler and B. Telatovich.  Over 100 people

            already registered. Silver Creek needs firm number 10 days prior to event (D.

            Talhelm).  B. Telatovich to get number to Silver Creek on February 13.  Seating

            arrangements done day of event by B. Telatovich and E. Horahan.

Banquet Agenda/Schedule – Hors d’oeuvres (Fruit and Veggies by D. Talhelm, Cheese

            and Crackers by B. Telatovich).  Recognition MC by E. Horahan.  Nametags will

            be preprinted, assembled beforehand or at check in. If prepaid, just pick up

            nametag.  EPBJ to be picked up by B. Telatovich (approx. 250-300 copies). 

            Banquet Program to be picked up by B. Walp.

 

5. Guest List –

Communications Director from Penn State to be in attendance (M. Basta).

EPBJ has been invited by A. Muranyi.

Local Universities contacted and invited by B. Telatovich.

Wilkes University will send people (B. Walp).

Morning Call’s Diana Morse will be attending (A. Muranyi).
